Evolve · How to play
Evolve begins with protoplasm and gradually opens a civilization simulation. Manual resource gathering gives way to production, research, species choices and repeated evolutionary runs. This local adaptation keeps the full progression and uses bundled English strings.
Controls
Click RNA to gather the first resource, then buy evolution actions. Read each unlock and use the game tabs as new systems appear.
Rules & goal
- Gather RNA and buy the early cellular improvements. Later actions reveal DNA and a choice of species.
- After evolving, expand resource production, housing and jobs while researching new technologies.
- Prestige resets have different rewards and requirements; inspect the displayed outcome before confirming one.
Beginner tips
- Buy an improvement that removes the current resource bottleneck instead of spending evenly on everything.
- Hover or tap an action for its costs and description. Many later systems only appear after their prerequisites.
- The active civilization stops while this page is hidden or paused. Built-in saved/offline progression is a separate game feature.
Progress & devices
Play in a desktop or mobile browser using the controls above. Some games save only in the current browser; clearing site data can remove saves. Pause when stepping away. Reloading is not guaranteed to preserve the current round.
