Gridland · How to play
Gridland gives matching tiles a changing purpose. In daylight, matches provide the materials that build your settlement; at night, the same board becomes a survival challenge. The original progression and locally bundled music are retained.
Controls
Choose a New Game slot, then swap neighboring tiles to make matches. Read the instructions as building and night combat unlock.
Rules & goal
- Choose a save slot and swap adjacent tiles to create a match of three or more.
- Daytime resource matches contribute to settlement construction.
- Night changes the board’s threats and opportunities; respond to enemies while protecting the settlement.
Beginner tips
- Look beyond the first possible match and plan the next board position.
- Read new tile descriptions when the day-night cycle introduces another mechanic.
- Use a local save slot to continue; clearing browser data also clears that settlement.
Progress & devices
Play in a desktop or mobile browser using the controls above. Some games save only in the current browser; clearing site data can remove saves. Pause when stepping away. Reloading is not guaranteed to preserve the current round.
