Hextris · How to play
Hextris wraps falling colored blocks around a six-sided center. You rotate the hexagon so touching groups of the same color clear before the stack crosses the outer boundary. It has its own spatial rules and timing rather than a standard falling-block board.
Controls
Use left/right or A/D to rotate. On a phone, tap the left or right side. Down speeds up incoming blocks; the help icon explains combos.
Rules & goal
- Rotate the center left or right to choose which side receives an incoming block.
- Connect at least three blocks of one color to remove them and score.
- Keep every stack inside the outer gray hexagon; build a sequence of clears before the combo timer expires.
Beginner tips
- Rotate early enough to read the next approaching block.
- Clear a tall side before concentrating on a large combo elsewhere.
- The original GPL game source and component notices are available in the source download.
