Minimal Rogue · How to play
Minimal Rogue is a dungeon of turn-by-turn choices. Its simple symbols represent equipment, items, monsters and floor progression. Read the status bar before committing. This edition omits the upstream MP3 background music.
Controls
Arrows move, Space defends, X opens the menu and Enter confirms. Built-in touch controls included. In-game language: English.
Rules & goal
- Start or continue from the title menu. Move with arrows; encounters can lead to combat.
- Health and stamina shape survival. Use defense, equipment and items to handle different rooms.
- Find routes through floors and keep exploring. Saves depend on this browser and are lost when its site data is cleared.
Beginner tips
- Open the menu somewhere safe and learn what your equipment and items do.
- Avoid pushing deeper with depleted stamina. Check your surroundings and recovery options.
Progress & devices
Play in a desktop or mobile browser using the controls above. Some games save only in the current browser; clearing site data can remove saves. Pause when stepping away. Reloading is not guaranteed to preserve the current round.
