Ordinal Markup · How to play
Ordinal Markup is a mathematical incremental game about different ways to count beyond familiar numbers. Manual successor and maximization actions lead to automation, changing bases and several reset layers. Optional externally hosted music was removed from this adaptation.
Controls
Click Increase Ordinal by 1 and use Maximize when appropriate. Reach the displayed threshold to Markup; later tabs unlock new automation.
Rules & goal
- Increase the ordinal and maximize it to use the current number system.
- Reach the shown Markup threshold to unlock a new resource and automation.
- Factor shifts, boosts and later resets change production and unlock additional systems; read each confirmation.
Beginner tips
- Use the How to play page when a new notation or reset appears.
- Buy early automation so repeated successor clicks become a production loop.
- Export a text or file save from Options before experimenting with an irreversible reset.
Progress & devices
Play in a desktop or mobile browser using the controls above. Some games save only in the current browser; clearing site data can remove saves. Pause when stepping away. Reloading is not guaranteed to preserve the current round.
