Particle Clicker · How to play
Particle Clicker is an educational laboratory management game created at CERN Webfest. Detector clicks collect data, discoveries earn reputation, and funding lets you hire researchers and improve the laboratory. The original contributor credits and physics explanations remain available.
Controls
Dismiss the local-save notice, then click the detector to collect data. Use Research, HR and Upgrades; phones work best sideways.
Rules & goal
- Click the central detector to generate experimental data.
- Spend data on research, then use funding and reputation to hire a team and unlock improvements.
- Research information explains the historical physics discoveries behind the progression.
Beginner tips
- Alternate between the detector and the research list to turn stored data into useful discoveries.
- Hiring improves automated output; compare the cost of a hire with the next upgrade.
- Use landscape on a phone to leave room for the detector and management tabs.
Progress & devices
Play in a desktop or mobile browser using the controls above. Some games save only in the current browser; clearing site data can remove saves. Pause when stepping away. Reloading is not guaranteed to preserve the current round.
