Sliding Fifteen · How to play
Sliding Numbers gives you a single empty space for every rearrangement. Plan both the destination of a tile and the room needed to move around it.
Controls
Use the touch-friendly game controls. Detailed rules appear below the board.
Rules & goal
- Only a tile next to the empty space can move into it.
- Restore ascending numeric order with the empty space at the end.
- Every move relocates the space; a blocked tile cannot jump across other tiles.
Beginner tips
- Complete a row or column first and avoid disturbing it unnecessarily.
- Rearrange the final few tiles as a group rather than trapping the space on the wrong side.
Progress & devices
Play in a desktop or mobile browser using the controls above. Some games save only in the current browser; clearing site data can remove saves. Pause when stepping away. Reloading is not guaranteed to preserve the current round.
